One of the most irritating about running this service is the immense delay and costs involved in couriering a medicine from India to UK. It is silly when we note that the medicine could cost as less as $3 but the shipping cost adds another $12 to the equation. The following are the various ways you can get your medicines to the UK and here are some money saving tips especially in terms of courier costs.

Try to maximize the number of bottles or tablets you can buy at one given time because the courier costs relatively less if you are towards the upper end of the limit of that particular bracket. Remember you are buying safe herbal medicines which have a very long shelf life, so it is perfectly safe and sensible to stock some in your home.

For example if you order a single bottle of Tanapushti oil 100ml, the courier cost is atleast $11. However if you ordered 3 bottles of Tanapushti they would still come under the same weight bracket and the courier cost would be shared between 3 bottles. It effectively means that a single bottle of Tanapushti with courier charges will come to $15 or if you had 3 bottles then it would be only $7 per bottle ($21for 3 bottles including courier charges) and hence you are saving the cost per bottle by almost 50%.

 To achieve this you may be able to order different medicines of more number of bottles and our medi-shop will recommend you what could be a good supplementation for the type of purchase you are engaged in.

Buy as a group

Alternately join the "Dr Sane's Ayurvedic herbal champions" group that we are supporting throughout the UK and Europe as well as in USA (shortly). The group involves people dedicated to herbal medicines meeting every fortnight/month discussing various problems they have and the possible treatment and solutions. We are looking for enthusiastic members with good social skills and some time on their hands, to  train themselves in the scientific aspects of Ayurvedic medicine. Whilst it may not make you a full fledged doctor it will give you enough background to make your orderings more interesting and to improve the awareness of your own body and what goes wrong in various diseases and conditions. Because you will have been interacting with like minded people it will then be possible for you to order a few medicines as group order.

Urgent shipping

This is the individual courier service for which which we charge the regular courier cost (though subsidized to some extent by us). Your medicine leaves our store on the same day that you ordered. It typically takes 2-3 days to reach you depending on where you live.

Within this service you can reduce the per item shipping costs by optimising the number of bottles you are buying to come as near to the upper limit of that particular weight bracket.

Non-urgent shipping-Benefit from the discounted courier shipments leaving Mumbai every Friday

Every Friday we collate the various orders that we have had throughout the week and put them in a container/box to be shipped to London and other major cities in Europe. This allows us to share the courier cost between several buyers. If you do not have a particular need for getting your herbal medicine in fast time, you may want to choose the alternative option that you have in terms of getting the delivery on a single day which is Friday between India and Europe. This means the drug is available to you latest by Monday.

If there is an urgency in the need for the drug then ofcourse you are welcome to order it specially for the full courier costs. Typically the courier cost is brought down by $5 or more especially if you are not ordering a lot.
